Wellington Regional Healthy Housing Group (WRHHG) is a cross-sectoral collective impact initiative. We are central government departments, local councils, Te Whatu Ora, and industry bodies, and research, social outreach, health, and community-based organisations.
Though we’re a regional initiative, our system change priorities sometimes see us working at a national level. We are committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
Our Vision is:
Healthy safe homes for the wellbeing of everyone in the Wellington region
Structure and Governance
We operate on a collective impact model of shared governance, strategic planning, community involvement and evaluation. We commit to uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles with a view to reducing inequities and improving health outcomes for Māori, upholding the partnership relationship and working together in a spirit of collaboration and collective responsibility.
We convene a Quarterly Network Meeting that always includes a remote option and sometimes also an in-person option. The Network Meetings run for 90mins with the first half being an update and information-sharing round, and the second half focused on a thematic presentation or discussion related to our Strategy. The day-to-day business of the Group is managed by a Steering Group of approximately 10 people representing our diverse network. Meet our Steering Group here.
